A Health Care Professional (Nurse)
Pa Yusupha is the Project Manager of The Malaria Project for Health Promotion and Development Organisation (HePDO). In this role, he assists the Executive Director in the day to day running of the Organization, Supervise, monitor project activities, prepare and submit monthly and quarterly progress reports to donors and stakeholders. He also prepares budgets for implementation of planned project activities, train communities on their rights, values and norms, develop strategic plans and policies for institutional development. Pa Yusupha Sowe Act as Focal Point for IEC/BCC & answer all technical queries and questions on matters relating to the project and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports on project activities.
Pa Yusupha brings more than 19years of field leadership and Nursing experience in the non-profit sector and government. Prior to joining HePDO, Pa Yusupha was the Project Manager of the Malaria Project for Gambia Food and Nutrition Association (GAFNA).
Pa Yusupha received his Certificate in Tropical Community Medicine & Health from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine – United Kingdom, Certificate in Integrated Management of Childhood Illness from Medical Research Council, Certificate in Nutrition & Child Health from Medical Research Council (University of Cambridge/Dunn Nutrition Group-The Gambia) and Certificate in Principles and Practices of Nursing from School for State Enrolled Nurses and Midwives -The Gambia
